Greetings, friends new and old! Thank you for your continued support of Unist’ot’en Camp and Healing Centre. Camp has just wrapped up the June Work Party and is looking forward to the August Party, from August 10th to 31st, 2025.
June saw supporters and Unist’ot’en working together to build a beautiful new building, a long screened-in pavilion nestled in the trees, where people can eat and gather together in the fresh air without braving the mosquitoes. The building was made using timber milled on the territory, and is a long-awaited and beautiful addition to the space. Thank you to all of those who laboured so hard to see it done! We hope you will return to enjoy it soon.
For August, we will be focusing on finishing off old projects and refining existing systems. The Unist’ot’en welcome you to join them in getting camp and the Healing Centre ready for fall and winter programming. Space will be available in the comfy Bunkhouse (many beds available) or you can tent under the remarkable starry skies. Make cherished friends, drink from the river, enjoy 3 stellar meals per day, and feel in your bones that you have made a tangible contribution to Indigenous Sovereignty and Healing.
All skills are welcome but especially: skilled tradespeople (plumbing, electrical, carpenters, etc), dishwashers, gardeners and herbalists, cooks, chainsaw operators, and people familiar with off-grid systems.
If you can’t get to camp but wish to help, Camp is especially needing:

donations of flights for supporters (etransfer, PayPal, or Aeroplan points via the Air Canada gift card system) or gas money

Reliable vehicles to borrow for the drive to and from Camp from Vancouver

People to drive (especially with their own vehicles) to and from Camp from Vancouver

Donations to the grocery fund for the Work Party
